William A. Neubecker age 77, of Brookfield who passed away on Friday January 11, 2019 at Hospice of the Valley Hospice House in Poland. William was born August 31, 1941 in Youngstown, Ohio a son of Edward L. & Alice McCormick Neubecker. He worked for the street department in Coitsville Township and later was a shuttle driver for Sweeney Chevrolet in Boardman.

William enjoyed camping, old cars, and drag raced for many years at Youngstown Ohio Drag City. He was a member of New Life Lutheran Church in Liberty. His wife, the former Mary A. Simeone whom he married on March 30, 1968 passed away July 22, 1996.

He will be sadly missed by his family; his son Stacy A. (Kristin) Neubecker of New Castle, his grandson David J. Neubecker, his companion Margaret M. Chimel of Brookfield, and his step-daughter Eileen (Jeff) Crites, and three step-grandchildren Kathryn Grope, Jeffrey Grope and Brandon Dessez. He also leaves his sister Shirley (John) Johnston of Brookfield. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, and brothers Charles R. Neubecker and Edward Neubecker Jr. There will be calling hours on Tuesday January 15, 2019 from 5-7 PM and Wednesday January 16, 2019 prior to the service from 10-11 AM at Stewart-Kyle Funeral Home.

William will be laid to rest at Jackson Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in Williams’s memory to Hospice of the Valley 5190 Market Street Youngstown, Ohio 44512. Family and friends are invited to visit the funeral home’s website at www.
