HUBBARD Memorial services will be held on Friday February 8, 2019 at the Kelley-Robb-Cummins Funeral Home for William G. “Moldy” Ashman, 64, who died Tuesday morning at Vibra Hospital. He was born January 19, 1955 in Youngstown, a son of David and Rose Marie Perline Ashman and was a lifelong Hubbard resident. Moldy, a 1974 graduate of Hubbard High School was a self-employed carpenter.

He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, cooking, spending time with his family and especially loved the time with his grandchildren. Moldy leaves his mother Rose Ashman of Hubbard; his wife, the former Mary E. Moening, whom he married August 24, 1982; a son, Bryan Ashman and his wife Maura of Boardman; two daughters, Jessica Williford and her husband Jason at home and Jerri-Lynn Yocum and her husband Kyle of Sunbury, NC; a brother, David Ashman and his wife Darlene of Brookfield; four sisters, Shirley Lloyd and her husband John of Girard, Cathy Adamrovich and her husband George of Hubbard, Jenny Davis and her husband Leroy of Weathersfield and Jane Humenny and her husband Michael of Hubbard; 7 grandchildren, Evie, Rosabella, Elizabeth, Mavis and Matilyn, Salvatore and Jacob at home. He was preceded in death by his father.
