Oros Jr. age 68, of Hubbard who passed away on Tuesday March 5, 2019 at St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital. George was born October 21, 1950 in Youngstown, Ohio a son of George R. Sr. & Mary Horvath Oros. He was a 1968 graduate of Hubbard High School and a graduate of Youngstown State University Dana School of Music.

He taught band and was the choir leader at Beaver Local Schools, and worked in the computer department for Home Savings, Pharmor, St. Elizabeth Hospital, and was a reviewer for USIS (United States Investigative Services). George played the trombone and was in the band The Top Notes and later The Youngstown Area Community Concert Band. He enjoyed spending time with his grandson, and coached youth league baseball for many years.

George will be sadly missed by his family; his son Zachary Oros and daughter-in-law Krystal Brest both of Hubbard and his grandson Izaak Oros. He also leaves his brother Richard A. (Susan) Oros of Hubbard. His parents preceded him in death.

There will be calling hours on Saturday March 9, 2019 prior to the service from 1-3 PM at Stewart-Kyle Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made in George’s memory to American Heart Foundation 840 Southwestern Run Youngstown, Ohio 44514.
