Mary Ellen Wohlgamuth December 20, 1928 – February 25, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| View Guest Book Entries| Send Sympathy Card There were private services held on Friday March 1, 2019 at Stewart-Kyle Funeral Home for Mary Ellen Wohlgamuth age 90, of Hubbard who passed away on Monday February 25, 2019 surrounded by her loving family at St. Elizabeth Youngstown Hospital. Mary Ellen was born December 20, 1928 in Youngstown, Ohio a daughter of Charles & Gladys Harrison Newcome. She was a 1946 graduate of Hubbard High School.

She worked along with her husband managing People’s Building Company. Mary Ellen enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling, golfing, and her girlfriends. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Hubbard.

Her husband Jack Wohlgamuth Jr. whom she married April 25, 1947 passed away July 26, 1999. She will be forever missed and remembered by her family; her sons Martin N. (Francine) Wohlgamuth, Jack Wohlgamuth III both of Hubbard, her grandchildren Elizabeth Syrakis, Lauren Wilson, Cora Wohlgamuth, Sara Wohlgamuth and hegreat-grandchildren Merritt and Keller. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, and her daughter Karen Syrakis.

Mary Ellen will be laid to rest at Hubbard Union Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made in Mary Ellen’s memory to First Presbyterian Church of Hubbard at 22 Westview Avenue Hubbard, Ohio 44425. Family and friends are invited to visit the funeral home’s website at www.
