William “Bill” Franklin Davis January 10, 1943 – January 04, 2019 Share this obituary Local Florists Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card William “Bill” Franklin Davis, 75, of Pocahontas, Arkansas, passed away on Friday, January 4, 2019. Bill was born on January 10, 1943, in Benton, Mississippi, to Thomas V. and Josephine Coker Davis. On September 25, 1966, Bill married the love of his life, Reba Brackeen.

They were married for fifty-two years. Bill was a loving husband, son, brother, brother-in-law, son-in-law, uncle, and friend. He was a long-time member of First Baptist Church, in Pocahontas.

Bill loved God, country, and family. He retired from the United States Army after twenty years of service. Bill is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Josephine Coker Davis; brother, Kenneth T. Davis; sister, Hazel Williams.

Bill is survived by his wife of fifty-two years, Reba Brackeen Davis, of the home; four brothers, John (Beth) Davis, of Georgia, Mike (Cindy) Davis, of Georgia, James (Becky) Davis, of Texas, and Hardy (Paula) Davis, of Ohio; three sisters, Gloria (Charles) McDaniel, Annie Chunn, and Lilly Hay, all of Mississippi; three brother-in-law’s, Frank (Beth) Randolph, of Pocahontas, James (Phyllis) Brackeen, of Georgia, and Stuart Brackeen, of California; sister-in-law, Lynne Cook, of Mississippi. All services will be held in the chapel of the Fears Family Funeral Home, in Pocahontas, on Saturday, January 12, 2019. Visitation will be from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm.

Bill’s funeral service will immediately follow, beginning at 12:00 pm; Eric Moffett and James Brackeen, officiating. Burial will follow in the Thomas cemetery, near Attica. Online condolences may be sent to the family by visiting www.
