Bill was born in Grand Island, Nebraska to Richard and Pam (Ronnfeldt) Galusha on September 23, 1984. On December 23, 1991, Bill was baptized in the First Christian Church in Central City. He was the youngest of three children.

As a boy growing up on a small farm in Central City, Nebraska, he enjoyed being outside, getting dirty, riding four wheelers, go carts, and bikes. He loved anything with a motor. He was always outside doing something.

In the summers, he would usually be found running around the Sale Barn in his shorts and cowboy boots, at the pool, or at the fireworks stand. In the evenings, he and his sister would go to the alfalfa field and catch lightning bugs for hours. One of Bill’s greatest loves were animals.

He had a gift with animals, they always loved him. Bill attended school in Central City, graduating high school in 2003. After graduation, Bill turned to the open road and became an over-the-road truck driver with his Blue Healer- Dakota by his side.

In November of 2008, he moved to Milnor, ND to be with Naomi Gregor. While there, he went to work for a custom harvesting company. He loved his life in North Dakota and considered it home.

Bill was a kind hearted, caring soul. He always had a grin which was his smile. If you were honored enough to know Bill, you had a friend for life.

But, he wasn’t just a friend, but a friend you would consider family. He had close people in his life, but, the one he always had by his side, was his pup Dakota. She was definitely man’s best friend.

Bill loved spending time with family, especially his nephew Aden. He cherished their family vacation to Estes Park, Colorado. He is survived by his mother Pam Galusha of Palmer, NE; his father- Richard and Kathy Galusha of Central City, NE; sister- Shannon and Paul Trammell of Yermo, CA; sister- Ami and Anthony Eckstrom of Palmer, NE; aunt and uncle; nieces, nephews, and cousins; special friend- Naomi Gregor; best friend Eric Burt.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents- Elmer and Violet Galusha; Art and Thelma Ronnfeldt; special friend- Gaige Gregor Hage; numerous aunts and uncles; his beloved dog- Dakota. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of William “Bill” Galusha please visit our Sympathy Store.
