William “Bill”‘s Obituary ? William “Bill” Richard Brown, Jr. of Ransomville, NY, died on Tuesday, February 5, 2019 in Mount St. Mary’s Hospital. He was 57.

He was born in Queens, NY on April 4, 1961, the son of Julianne (Agostini) Brown of Niagara Falls and the late William Brown Sr He served his country proudly in the US Air Force for six years. Bill worked for Globe Metallurgical Inc. for 30 years.

His most recent title was supervisor. He was a member and served as past President of the Steel Workers Union 9436; a member of the BPOE Lodge 346 and its house committee. With his family, he enjoyed camping, card playing and was an avid History channel enthusiast.

He is survived by his wife, Linda (Colpoys) Brown; two daughters, Haleigh Brown (Mia Bianco) of Niagara Falls; Katherine Brown (Ed Hanson) of Ransomville; a sister, Debbie (Duane) DeVantier of Wheatfield; a brother, George (Laura) Brown of Sanborn; Brothers in law, Michael (Bethann) Colpoys of Niagara Falls; William (Sharon) Colpoys of Sanborn; sister in law, Patricia (Daniel) Coia of Ransomville; several nieces, nephews, friends and loved ones. Friends may call Saturday from 2 PM until 7 PM in the LANE FUNERAL HOME, INC,, 8622 Buffalo Avenue, Niagara Falls. Friends and family are invited to attend a Memorial service Sunday 2 PM in his church, St. James Lutheran Church, 2437 Niagara Road, Niagara Falls, 14304.

In lieu of flowers, memorials, if desired, may be made to the American Heart Association or to the American Cancer Society.
