William “Bill” A. Richardson, Jr., age 90, of Evansville, IN passed away Thursday, March 7, 2019, at Oasis Dementia Care. Bill was born April 27, 1928, in Hancock County, KY, to William “Babe” and Mary (Linthicum) Richardson. Bill was a U.S. Navy Veteran and a Mason.

He worked as a draftsman for Whirlpool for 40 years, before retiring in 1993. Bill was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather who had a mischievous grin and a wonderful sense of humor. Bill had a fondness for all animals.

He enjoyed gardening, and could fix anything. He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Bobbie Jo (Carlton) Richardson; daughter, Pamela Crowe (Tim) of Evansville, IN and, son, Alan Richardson (Dani) of Memphis, IN; grandchildren, Nicholas Crowe (Tiffany), Brandi Graf (Jonathan), and Christopher Richardson (Janelle); great grandchildren, Ian Crowe, Caelea and Jasper Graf, and Abigail, Amelia, and Anna Richardson; sister, Emily Newman, and brother, Dean. He is preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Bettie Roberts and Lillian Driskell.

A special thank you to the staff of Oasis Dementia Care & Kindred Hospice. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. CST, Monday, March 11, 2019 at Ziemer Funeral Home East Chapel, 800 S. Hebron Avenue, Evansville, IN. Interment will be at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Friends may visit from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. CST, Monday, March 11, 2019 at Ziemer Funeral Home East Chapel, 800 S. Hebron Avenue, Evansville, IN.
