William E. “Bill” Caddy, 79, formerly of Moxham, died July 6, 2018, at Memorial Medical Center. He was born August 1, 1938, in Johnstown, son of the late Elwood and Stephanie (Malonsky) Caddy. He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Mae (Gindlesperger) Caddy; brothers, Robert and Thomas; and sisters, Margaret Sefcik, and Phyliss Korbor.

He is survived by his sons, George Caddy, and wife, Delcine, Florida, and their children, Jacob, Philip, and Amanda; and Ted Caddy, and wife, Cindy, Bedford, and their daughter, Alison; three great grandchildren; sisters, Agnes Detrick, Roseanne Neff, and Karen Caddy, all of Johnstown; and brother, James Caddy, Johnstown. He was a member of Moxham Lutheran Church. He was an avid bowler for over 50 years, was a member of the Laurel Highland’s Bowling Association since 1957, where he served as treasurer for over 20 years, enjoyed spending time with family at the cottage, and was a special grandfather.

He had worked for Better Tires and the Hideaway. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 pm Monday at Henderson Funeral Hills East Hills, 2503 Bedford St., where funeral service will be held at 1 pm Tuesday, Rev. Phyllis Diamond, officiating.

Interment will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery. www.
