Obituary for William Emile Spigliano William (“Will”) Emile Spigliano (nickname “Guido”), age 71, of Royal Oak, passed away July 8, 2018. Will was born in Biloxi, Mississippi and served as a Navy Seal during the Vietnam War. Over the course of two tours in Vietnam, Will served as an underwater demolition expert and was awarded the Purple Heart for injuries that he sustained.

After leaving the Navy, Will worked as an operations director for many years with Titan Security. He also worked as a bouncer for over forty years. In his spare time, Will enjoyed watching and recording (DVR’ing) television, working out, riding motorcycles (especially Harleys), and spending time with his dog, Peanut, a Teacup Yorkie rescue.

Will was particularly passionate about fitness. He was an avid health nut and competed professionally as a bodybuilder. He even owned and operated a gym for several years in downtown Royal Oak called “Body by You”.

Will’s approach to life was best summed up by his favorite phrase, “It is what it is”. Will is survived by his loving wife, Nancy. Memorial visitation and service are currently pending.
