Obituary for William Miller Jr. William F. Miller, Jr. Marlton – William F. Miller, Jr. 78 of Marlton, passed away from his life on Saturday, June 23rd, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. He was born in New Brunswick, NJ on November 11, 1939 to the late William J. Miller and Joanna (Frankowski) Miller. He graduated from New Brunswick High School in 1958 and joined the Navy in 1959.

He was assigned to the Destroyer Leader USS Mitscher DL-2 and served in the Mediterranean Sea and Guantanamo Bay during the Cuban Missile Crisis. He was honorably discharged in 1963. He served on the New Brunswick Fire Department, retiring after 30 years of service.

He also worked for Philips Concrete. He was an avid fan of the NY Giants and Marlton Cherokee High School Football teams, the NY Mets and car racing, especially Billy Pauch. He enjoyed crossword puzzles and meeting his buddies at the Marlton Diner for their morning cup of coffee.

He will be remembered for his jovial attitude and his laid back personality. Bill is survived by his beloved wife Carole (Anderson) Miller, sons William Miller (Debbie) of Florida, Craig Miller of Mays Landing, Brian Rosendale of Marlton, daughters Patricia Sadedine of Freehold, Holly Rosendale of Moorestown, Heidi Heckmann (Mark) of Mays Landing, Cheryl Signor (Jim) of Florida, Jennifer Miller of Florida, dear sister and brother Cookie Miller of North Brunswick and Ralph J. Miller (Caroline) of Milltown and 19 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation was Monday, July 2nd, 2018 from 9:45 am – 10:45 am at St. Joan of Arc Church, 100 Willow Bend Rd.

, Marlton, NJ, followed by an 11:00 am Mass. Interment will be at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 350 Provinceline Rd. , North Hanover Twp.
