Obituary for William Jacob Kron William Jacob Kron, 62 of Gentryville, passed away Friday, January 4th at Willowdale Village in Dale. William was born July 29, 1956 in Huntingburg to Norman and Aileen May (Fischer) Kron. William was a 1974 graduate of Heritage Hills High School.

He was a farmer on the family farm. He enjoyed farming and using his backhoe. William along with his brother Alan raised hogs.

He collected old coins, arrowheads and comics. William is survived by his sister, Donna (Herman Jr.) Sherman of Gentryville; one niece, Amie (Jamie) Waninger and their children, Austin, Kelsey and Kyle all of Lamar; one nephew, Curtis Sherman of Gentryville. William was preceded in death by his parents, Norman and Aileen Kron and his brother, Alan Kron.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at Becher Funeral Home in Ferdinand at 10:00 AM CDT with burial to follow in Stark Cemetery in Gentryville. Visitation will be Monday at Becher Funeral Home from 4-8:00 CDT and Tuesday from 8:00 AM CDT until time of services. Online condolences may be shared at www.
