Mr. William L. “Bill” Burkhart, 55, of Seymour, passed away at home on Wednesday, January 23, 2019. He was born in Seymour to John Steele and Dottie (Clark) Burkhart. Burial will be Tuesday, January 29 at 10:30 am in Madison Veteran’s Cemetery with full military honors.

Bill was a graduate of Seymour High School; class of 1982. He was a U.S. Navy veteran, serving from 1982-1996 in Guam, Antarctica and Ft. Magu, California.

He also served during Desert Storm. He was a self-employed handyman. He is survived by his parents; brother, Doug (Joy) Burkhart; sister, Bev Rollins; 2 nieces, 2 nephews and multiple great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Charles and Susie Burkhart; and maternal grandparents, Amel and Mabel Clark. Arrangements were conducted by the caring staff at Voss & Sons Funeral Service. Online condolences may be given on the funeral home website at www.
