Obituary for Ella Jaynes Ella (Cole) Jaynes, 89, of Seymour, passed away on Thursday, January 3, 2019 at Schneck Medical Center. She was born in 1929, in Salem, the daughter of the late Albert W. and Iva D. (Nowling) Cole. Funeral services will be conducted by Voss & Sons Funeral Service at Seymour Christ Temple on Monday, January 7 at 10 am with Revs.

Dennis Allman and Denny Allman officiating. Burial will take place at Riverview Cemetery. Family and friends may call at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Sunday from 2-4 pm and Monday from 9 am until time of service.

She married Harold Lee Jaynes; he preceded her in death on December 5, 1989. Ella was a member of Seymour Christ Temple. She is survived by her children, Mike (Robbie) Jaynes, Rodney Jaynes, Marty (Mary) Jaynes; grandchildren, Brandy (Jason) Drummond, Gavin Jaynes, Sarah Jaynes, Leah Jaynes, Ashley Caffee, Thomas Hyland, Dylon Hyland, Molly Trinkle, Dillon Walls and Robert Walls; 7 great-grandchildren; and sister, Ethel McDonald.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Jeffrey Jaynes; grandson, Barry Dwain Jaynes; brothers, James A. Cole and Robert L. Cole; sisters, Sarah Darkis, Myrtle Weddell, Elizabeth (Bee) Brown, Ruby Byarlay, Rosemary Ault, Anna Elliott, and Buelah Luckey.
