William Larry Hudson, 67, of Muscle Shoals, passed away on December 20, 2018 at North Alabama Medical Center. He retired from UFCW Local 1529 in Memphis, and also sat on the international and local executive boards as Vice President. He was a member of Labelle Haven in Memphis, Tennessee.

He enjoyed the outdoors, deer hunting, golf, and the Alabama Crimson Tide football team. He was a loving father, grandfather, and friend to all. Visitation will be at Greenview Funeral Home from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. on Friday, December 28, 2018.

A graveside service will be held in Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hershel and Inez Hudson; grandparents, William Wyatt Hudson and Berry V. Hudson, Rebecca Ruth Howard, and Cleo Howard; brother-in-law, Robert Wilburn. Survivors include his wife of 27 years, Joan Wright Hudson of Muscle Shoals, AL.

; sons, Aaron Hudson (Jennifer) of Athens, AL. , Chad Smith (Lauren) of Millington, Tennessee; daughter, Joley Smith Murphy (Bo) of Iuka, MS. , nephews, Wyatt Thomas Wilburn (Tasha) of Dover, TN, Glenn Wilburn of Florence, AL.

; niece, Melissa Wilburn Hearn (Chuck) of Florence, AL; sister, Barbara Hudson Wilburn of Florence, AL. , grandchildren, Riley Hudson of Athens, Brenna Allen of Millington, Tennessee, Violet Smith of Millington, Tennessee and Lilah Grace Murphy of Iuka, Mississippi; great-nephew; Casey Wilburn; great-great nephew, Solomon Wilburn.
