Obituary for William Parker “Buddy” Willey III William Parker “Buddy” Willey III, 70, of Carthage, passed away Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at St. Vincent Hospital. He was born June 27, 1948 in New Castle a son of William P. and Lorena (Morgan) Willey, Jr. Buddy retired from Trane in Rushville after 41 years of service. He was a jack of all trades, including auto maintenance and body work, carpentry and wood working.

Buddy never met a stranger. He was a member of the East Street Christian Church in Carthage. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Ronelle Willey of Carthage; children, Troy Parker (Melissa) Willey of Kennard, Stacy Theobald of Morristown; grandchildren, Bobbi Jo Bales, Brandon Willey, Benjamin Bales, Parker Theobald, Savannah Theobald; one great grandchild, Kopeland Kreiger; siblings, Roy (Susan) Willey, Rose Willey, Linda Shue, Bob (Debbie) Willey, Jerry (Kelli) Willey, Charles (Sherri) Willey, Kathy Donzell; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant sister, Lillian Willey. Services will be at 12:30 PM Friday, September 21, 2018 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service Knightstown Chapel with David Bonne officiating. Burial will follow in Glen Cove Cemetery.
