WILLIAM’s Obituary Mr. William Walter Wray, 72, died May 12, 2019 at his residence in Sebastian, FL with his loving family by his side. He was born in Albany, New York in 1947 and later moved to Niskayuna, New York in 1981. He and his family relocated to Sebastian, Florida in 2014.

Bill attended Christian Bother’s Academy (CBA) and received a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI). He worked as a Computer Specialist for the State of New York for over 25 years before retiring in 2002. He was a Veteran of the U.S. National Guard and received the Sharpshooter (M16 Rifleman) Award and the Medical Corpsman Cross.

Bill was an avid golfer and bowler, having achieved both a hole in one and a 300 game. He also enjoyed reading and completing New York Times crossword puzzles. Bill is survived by his wife of 40 years, Holly Wray; and his daughter, Allyson Wray.

He is also survived by his Aunts Victoria Roemer and Louise Scarlata; as well as several cousins. He was preceded in death by his Mother, Agnes Polak Wray; his Father, Henry Eugene Wray; his Sister, Patricia Wray; and his Brother, Edward Wray. A Celebration of his Life will be held on Saturday, May 25th between 12 noon and 2:00 pm at the Restaurant at The American Golf Club, located at 100 Woodland Drive in Vero Beach, Florida.

Cremains will be interred at a later date in Our Lady of Grace Cemetery in Albany, New York. Arrangements are by Strunk Funeral Home and Crematory, Sebastian, FL. A guest book is available at www.
