William Wells “Bill” Spaulding, passed from this life on March 1, 2019. He was born in the New York borough of Brooklyn on November 27, 1945, to Francis and Claudia Henson Spaulding. Bill was a 37-year employee of Consolidated Edison, serving as an emergency restoration technician and was recognized for his contribution to the rapid restoral of the electrical grid after the 911 event, which was critical in providing power to Wall Street.

Bill was a world traveler, visiting many places most of us will never see which included Australia, Indonesia, China, Chile, Thailand, India, Vietnam, Japan, Argentina, Panama, Alaska, Hawaii and many more. Bill is survived by his wife, Helen; his daughter, Sandra Adragna; and grandsons, Christopher and Joe. Bill moved to Arkansas to get away from the hustle of the big city and Hot Springs became his new home.

He was a member of the Hot Springs Community of Christ congregation. Unfortunately, several strokes limited his ability to travel and Bill found a new home at the Montgomery County Assisted Living Facility in Mount Ida, Arkansas. His jovial personality won him many friends.

Bill had a love of art, travel and social interaction. His church family and friends at the Montgomery County Assisted Living will miss him as he journeys on his last great travel experience to be with God and Christ. Bon Voyage, Bill Guest registry is at www.
