Willis James Ogle, III, 64, rural Peru, passed away on Tuesday, April 25, 2018, at his residence. Born April 21, 1954, in Peru, Indiana, he was the son of Willis J. Ogle, Jr., and the former Carol Hoover. He had worked as a mechanic with his father at Ogle’s Garage, Peru.

He enjoyed music, singing, playing guitar, and nature. He especially loved taking walks in the woods. Survivors include his parents, Willis J. and Carol Ogle, Denver; children, Tobias J. (Nicole) Ogle, Peru; and Christina Hohrman, Northfield, Minnesota; eight grandchildren, Brandon Boyd, Chase Ogle, Chance Ogle, and Braxton Ogle, all of Peru; Chaley Hohrman, Ballground, Georgia; and Michelle Hohrman, Gretchen Hohrman, and Abigail Hohrman, Northfield, Minnesota; sisters, Teresa Kay Ogle, Mexico; Loretta Helen (Donald) Rhodes, Peru; and Penny (Troy) Burgess, Mentone; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, and one nephew, Derek Perkins; and son-in-law, Brad Hohrman. A time of visitation with the family will be from 10 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 28, 2018, at McClain Funeral Home, Denver. Burial will be at a later date in Plainview Cemetery, Macy.
