Gilbert- Funeral services for Wilma Keisler Sharpe, 75, will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 11, 2019 at Dunns Chapel Church with interment to follow in Southland Memorial Gardens, 700 West Dunbar Road, West Columbia, SC. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the church prior to the funeral. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made in her honor to Dunns Chapel Church, 281 Chapel Road, West Columbia SC 29172.

Wilma passed away Tuesday, January 8, 2019. She was born September 19, 1943 and was the daughter of the late Horace and Sadie Keisler. She graduated from Lexington High School and was employed with Lexington School District 2 for over 20 years.

She was very devoted to her family and enjoyed eating meals and playing card games with her siblings at the “Pondhouse”. She was a member of Dunns Chapel Church where she enjoyed singing in the choir and helping with any activities at the church when needed. She was predeceased by her husband, Floyd Loman Sharpe.

She is survived by her son, Kirk Sharpe (Jill); daughter, Cindy Kilpatrick (Kenny); grandchildren, Colt Sharpe (Lindsey), Colby Sharpe (Katie) and Carrie Sharpe; brothers, Harvey Keisler (Jean) and Melvin Keisler (Linda); and a sister, Sharon Smith (Bobby). She was predeceased by her sister, Linette Lybrand. The family wishes to express their thanks to the oncology nurses and staff of the 8th floor at Lexington Medical Center for their assistance and compassionate care of Wilma during the past few weeks.
