Winford’s Obituary Winford H.”Jim” Courts of Hamlin, went to be with the Lord on May 22, 2019. Born in 1928, he served valiantly in the Korean War and returned home to marry his wife of 57 years, Shirley Hoover. Winford was a long time member of the First Baptist Church in Dunbar.

He is survived by his three children; Gary, Teresa Campbell, and Karen; three grandchildren; Jennifer Pratt, Elizabeth and Sam; and one great granddaughter, Olivia. A graveside service will be held at 9 a.m. on Saturday, May 25, at Grandview Memorial Park, Dunbar. Arrangements are in the care of Keller Funeral Home, Dunbar.
