Mr. Winfred Lee Allen, age 72, of Pinnacle, NC, passed away on May 24, 2018, on his farm. He was born on April 28, 1946 to the late Carl Woodrow Allen and Ida Beatrice Hunt Allen. Mr. Allen is survived by his loving wife, Audrey Johnson Allen; a daughter, Melanie Allen Wright and husband, Glenn; a sister, Norma Jean Huffman and husband, Wayne; and two sisters-in-law, Ruth Martin Allen and Carolyn Martin and husband, J.D. Martin.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Willie Ray Allen. A funeral service will be conducted on Monday, May 28, 2018 at Mount Zion United Methodist Church at 2 P.M. with Rev. Wayne Allen officiating.

Interment will follow Mount Zion United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 27, 2018 from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. at Cox-Needham Funeral Home. Cox-Needham Funeral Home of Pilot Mountain (www.
