Yvonne Jean Nickels, 74, of Eldon, Missouri passed away Friday, May 25, 2018 at her residence in Eldon, Missouri. She was born April 29, 1944 in Milan, Illinois the daughter of the late Herman and Annis (Withager) Short. On August 10, 1990 she was united in marriage to Donald H. Nickels who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: Daughters, Kim (Scrivner) Webery (Mike) of Eldon, MO; Dee (Scrivner) Fisher (Tim) of Eldon, MO Step Daughter, Lea Rush of Springfield, MO Son, Mitch Scrivner (Karen) of Eldon, MO Step Sons, Harry Nickels (Cindy) of Vichy, MO; Dan Nickels (Bethany) Camdenton, MO Six Grandchildren, Heather Frank, Lisa Helms, Krissy Dickens, Avery Fisher, Natasha Burks & Derek Burks Six Step Grandchildren; Nine Great Grandchildren & Two Step Great Grandchildren Two Brothers & One Sister Nine Siblings preceded her in death as well as her former husband Forrest Gene Scrivner. She was employed with the Eldon School District as a bus driver for thirty plus years until her retirement. She also enjoyed doing upholstery work throughout her lifetime.

Visitation will be Tuesday, May 29, 2018 from 1:00 PM – 2:30 PM at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO with the Funeral Service beginning at 2:30 PM with Pastor Tim Smith & Pastor Caleb Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Greenmore Memorial Gardens in Barnett, MO. Memorials in her name are suggested to Goldschmidt Cancer Center or Hospice Compassus.

Arrangements are under the direction and care of Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO.
