Obituary for Mrs. Zenolia Delores Delaney Mrs. Zenolia Delores Delaney passed away peacefully November 27, 2018 at the age of 87 years at Sparrow Hospice Service in Lansing, MI. She was an only child born November 25, 1931 in Laurel, Mississippi, the daughter of Chester and Martha (Johnson) Arrington. She was married to Willie James Delaney, Sr. for 47 years, to this union five children were born, four boys and one girl.

Zenolia loved the Lord. She would always say, “Put God first in your life and everything else will fall into place”. She will be remembered by many for her gentle spirit, kindness and words of wisdom and knowledge.

She leaves to cherish her memory, two children, Martha Faye (Marquis) Delaney Hudson of Lansing, MI, Gregory Lynn Delaney of Detroit, MI and daughter-in-law, Sharon Delaney of Biloxi, MS; many grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, some lived in Saginaw, MI, Biloxi, MS, Lansing, MI and Detroit, MI, many other relatives and friends. Mrs. Delaney was preceded in death by her husband, Willie James Delaney, Sr.; three sons, Karl Jerome Delaney, Willie James Delaney, Jr and son, Talmitch Bernard Delaney; her parents, Chester and Martha Arrington. The family would like to express a special thanks to Sparrow Hospice Medical Staff of Lansing, MI for their care, comfort and compassion.
