Obituary for Eleanore Kawa Eleanore “Herb” Kawa, age 98, of Bay City, MI, passed away on Friday, November 23, 2018. The daughter of John and Martha Klotz, Eleanore was born August 11, 1920, in Detroit, MI. Eleanore was a devoted, loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

She was so selfless, always putting others first. She especially loved children and animals. She had a great sense of humor and loved to joke and laugh with everyone.

She cherished time spent with her family and special friends, Betty Padget, Virginia Kramer, and Ensa Benvenuti. Although she went through some hard times, she always stayed positive and never complained. She has left us with so many fun memories and she will forever be in our hearts.

Eleanore is survived by her children, Carol (Robert) Stasser, Lois Frantz, Kenneth (Susan) Kawa, and Susan (Fabian) Montori; 6 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Casmere Kawa, and her parents. A private burial will take place in Spring of 2019 at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly, MI.
