Obituary for Adela L. Chapa Adela Louise Chapa December 2, 1961 – May 10, 2018 Adela Louise Chapa, our beloved daughter, sister, aunt & friend. Born December 2, 1961 in San Antonio, TX. She went to be with the Lord, May 10, 2018 surrounded by her loved ones.

She is preceded in death by her father, Alberto L. Chapa, Joe Ortiz (brother-in-law) and Jacob Alejandro Cervantes (great nephew). She is survived by her mother, Rosa Z. Chapa. Siblings, Mary Alice C. Ortiz, Carmen Ontiveros (Michael), Beatrice Cervantes (Jorge), Teresa Zuniga (Gabriel), Albert Chapa (Luz), Carolina Chavez (Jesse), Barbara Garza (Ruben),her dog, Honey, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.

She touched the hearts of many and was filled with love, laughter, and life. She enjoyed baking, singing, and puzzles on her I-pad. Her nieces and nephews will always remember her for allowing them to “borrow” her colors, coloring books and puzzles “but make sure you put them back”.

Visitation will begin on Sunday, May 13, 2018 at 5:00 p.m. with a rosary to begin at 7:00 p.m. at Mission Park South. Mass will be on Monday, May 14, 2018 at St. Lawrence Catholic Church at 12:00 p.m. with a departure from the funeral home at 11:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Leal Cemetery Pleasanton, Texas.
