Alaine Thelma Stauffer East Lansing Passed away on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at the age of 95. Born August 29, 1922 to Rudolph and Thelma (Lewis) Moore in Morenci, Michigan. Alaine worked as a nurse for a few different hospitals and doctors in the Lansing area including Lansing General Hospital where she worked in the Emergency Room.

Surviving are four children, Robert (Robin) Tickner, Ronnee (Rose) Tickner, Jerry (Debbie) Tickner, Diane (Allen) Wicke; 19 grandchildren; several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; son-in-law, Dale Piggot; daughter-in-law, Cheryl Tickner; sister-in-law, Darlene Moore as well as many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at Skinner Funeral Home, Lansing Chapel. Family will receive friends for visitation on Tuesday from 6-8 pm at the funeral home. For those desiring, memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association in Alaine’s name.
