Alan D. Adamson, 59, of East Fulton Street, Gloversville passed away on Friday March 1, 2019 at his residence. He was born in Amsterdam on September 18, 1959 a son of Robert F. and Eva A. Batease Adamson and attended school in Perth. Alan later served in the United States Marine Corps.

Alan was employed at one time at Robison & Smith in Gloversville. He enjoyed playing football when he was young and later watching the sport as a Minnesota Vikings fan. Alan was a baseball fan and rooted for the NY Mets.

He also enjoyed NASCAR. In addition to his parents, Alan was predeceased by a brother, Lawrence, who died in 2006. Survivors include two sons, Alan D. (Crystal) Adamson, Jr, of Troy and Dillon Adamson of Amsterdam; a brother, Robert Adamson of Perth; a sister, Fawn Bronson of Perth; two granddaughters, Alana and Brianna; and several nieces and nephews.

Cremation was performed at Park View Crematorium, Schenectady. Services will be held privately at a later date. Arrangements are by the Robert M. Halgas Funeral Home, Inc. Johnstown.
