Mr. Lance Wright, 55, of Zionsville, formerly of Seymour, passed away on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at IU Health University Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born in Whitesburg, Kentucky to the late Donald F. Wright and Ida Wright of Seymour. Funeral services will be at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Saturday, January 26 at 1:30 pm with Rev.

Sandy Cooper officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery. Family and friends may call at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Friday from 5-7 pm and Saturday from 11:30 am until time of service.

Through the years, Lance worked for Cummins Engine Company, Cook Pharmaceuticals, Baxter Pharmaceuticals, and Barry Wehmiller Design Group; he was a co-owner of BioConvergence LLC. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University. While at Purdue, he was a member of Tau Kappa Epsilon and a varsity baseball player.

He enjoyed getting together with his fraternity brothers at reunions. He had won several international Engineering design awards. He loved playing golf, seeing his friends, and most of all he loved his family and his dog Maggie.

He was a wonderful and loving Uncle to 5: Edward Snyder, Elizabeth Snyder, Amanda Snyder, Abigail Wright and Donald Wright. Lance had a great and tight group of friends, especially Patty Grayson who was always there when he needed a friend. He is survived by his mother; brother, Anthony (Kathy) Wright; and sister, LaDonna (Thomas) Snyder.

He is preceded in death by his father and grandparents. Memorials may be written to Boys & Girls Club of Seymour, in care of Voss & Sons Funeral Service. Online condolences may be given on the funeral home website at www.
