Alice M. Murphy, 90, of Greensburg, died Sunday, July 29, 2018, in the Greensburg Care Center. She was born Oct. 5, 1927, in New Alexandria, a daughter of the late Paul and Lillian Sheffler Berger.

Alice was a licensed practical nurse and a member of First United Methodist Church, Greensburg. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter-in-law, Andriaenne Murphy; four brothers, Arthur, Eugene, John and Paul Berger; and four sisters, Esther Wolcott, Alma Mae Harbridge, Lillian Berger and Anna Berger. She is survived by her two sons, Roy Murphy, of Greensburg, and Jeffrey Murphy, of Michigan; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; and a sister, Jill Yingst, of New Alexandria.

There will be no public viewing. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Interment was in St. Clair Cemetery, Greensburg.
