Alice Thompson Mattison, 80, widow of Robert Hayes Mattison, died Sunday, June 17, 2018 at Morningside Assisted Living in Greenwood. Born in Laurens, December 3, 1937, she was a daughter of the late Adolphus and Marie Nelson Thompson. Mrs. Mattison retired from ual Trauma Counseling Center, now Beyond Abuse, of Greenwood.

She was a member of Rice Memorial Baptist Church and attended Lupo United Methodist Church. Surviving are her two daughters, Cathy M. Sperry and husband… Read More » Keith and Cheryl M. Babb and husband Michael, all of Greenwood; three grandchildren, Zachary Sperry, Ethan Sperry and Hayden Babb, all of Greenwood. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family and was predeceased by her nine siblings.

Funeral services will be conducted at 12 Noon Tuesday from the Blyth Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Tucker officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 AM to 12:00 Noon Tuesday. Memorials may be made to Hospice of South Carolina, 326 Montague Avenue, Greenwood, SC 29646.
