Alice V. McCord Guariglia, 85, of Scottdale, passed away peacefully on Friday evening, October 19, 2018, at home. Alice was born in Barbour County, Philippi, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Walter and Alta Wilfong McCord and was a member of St. Pius X R.C. Church, Mt. Pleasant.

Alice was a loving and giving Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother who enjoyed quality times with her family and her many friends. Her family will be forever grateful to her loving friends, neighbors and caregivers for their kindness and support. Alice’s beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her loving children: Karen A. Truxal and husband Steve, Sr. of Greensburg Terry A. O’Wade and husband Ray of Mt.

Pleasant Rod L. Guariglia and wife Robin of Latrobe Her Grandchildren Dr. Steven J. Truxal (Christian) Adam N. Truxal Randi Jo Kmieciak (Sammi Jo) Bradley D. Kmieciak (Kaitlyn) Jonathan E. Strickler (Suzanne) Christina R. O’Wade Brougher (Jerod) Brittany N. Guariglia Trey and Ryan Carr Her Great Grandchildren: Gage Mutter Lucy, Eva and Jonah Brougher Madison Strickler Jaylynn and Rylee Ramsay In addition to her parents, Alice was preceded in death by Her Husband, Anthony Guariglia (July 31, 2013) Her Daughter, Tammy Jo Kmieciak (March 8, 2002) And her twelve Sisters and Brothers. Alice was the last surviving member of her immediate family. A Private Funeral Liturgy will be held for the immediate family with the Rev.
