James A. Stiltenpole, 68 of Poker Road, Mt. Pleasant, died unexpectedly, Wednesday morning, October 3, 2018 at his home. He was born August 13, 1950 in Mt.

Pleasant, the son of the late James A. and Charlotte J. Hoyle Stiltenpole. Jim was a graduate of Southmoreland High School Class of 1968. After high school, he was employed by U.S. Steel as a Foreman with 20 years of service.

He also was employed by Dietrich Industries of Blairsville for 10 years and retired from Repair X of Ligonier with 7 years’ service also as a Foreman. Jim enjoyed working on all types of cars, but his passion was for Classic Cars. He enjoyed working with the Rollin Oldies Car Club as well.

Jim was a loving and devoted Husband, Father, Grandfather and Brother to his family and a friend to all he knew. Jim is survived by his loving wife, Vickie Woloshun Stiltenpole, of Mt. Pleasant, whom he married, July 27, 1985, His Children: Kelly A. White of Ligonier Michael J. Stiltenpole and Theresa “Ter” of Mt.

Pleasant Carrie A. Brunson of Mt. Pleasant Stacia L. Geary and husband Adam of Acme Heather Blose and husband Bill of Mt. Pleasant His Ten Grandchildren: Nicole Tempest, Zac Blose, Holli Stiltenpole, Rachel Pezzano, Doran Shirley, Alexander Tyus, Duncan Blose,Sophia Blose, Karson White and Elizabeth Geary And his Two Great Grandchildren: Jeremiah and Josiah Black His Siblings: Dennis Stiltenpole and wife Pam of Ruffsdale LuAnn Huff and husband Dennis of Owensdale In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by: His First Wife: Priscilla A. Bair Stiltenpole (1983) His Son: Brian D. Stiltenpole (June 5, 2016) Jim’s family will greet friends in the Frank Kapr Funeral Home, Inc. 417 Pittsburgh St. Scottdale Sunday from 2 – 4PM & 6 – 8PM.

His Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home Monday, October 8, 2018 at 10AM with Pastor Bob Green officiating, of Madison United Methodist Church. Committal Services and Interment will follow in Mt. Joy of the Brethren Cemetery, Mt.
