Nivens, Allen, of House Springs, Missouri was born June 23, 1936, in Centralia, Oklahoma, to Walter Allen and Eulalia Pauline (nee Ford) Nivens and entered into rest, Friday, January 25, 2019 at the age of 82 years 7 months and 2 days. He is preceded in death by, his parents, and two brothers David and Leamon Nivens, He is survived by, His wife, Elyse (nee Rayfield) Nivens, House Springs, Missouri, Two (2) children, Greg (Kaye) Nivens, of House Springs, Missouri, and Sue (Marty) Eye, of House Springs, Missouri, Five (5) grandchildren, Brad (Valarie) Nivens, Mendi (Shane) Schmoll, Tasha (Brandon) Reece, Brittani (Charles) Stegall and Christopher Cody (Gabrielle) Eye, Nine (9) great grandchildren, Paige Schmoll, Jack Reece, Walker Reece, Claire Nivens, Cole Nivens, Mytchel Stegall, Maci Stegall, Xzavior Eye and Tristyn Eye, One (1) sibling, Lorene Mann, of Dittmer, Missouri, Many Nieces and Nephews, and many other family and friends. Allen enjoyed camping, yardwork, gardening and working on cars.

He worked at Ramco Piston and Company, he was a specialist in dynamometer lab and retired in 1998 after 35 years. He was a member of the AFL-CIO union. Al was also a man committed to his family and someone who really enjoyed life.

The thrill of seeing his grandchildren grow into adults and his great grandchildren enjoying life was pure bliss. He enjoyed days spent with those he loved – all these were his rewards for a life well lived. He will be truly missed by all those who knew and loved him.

Visitation Monday, January 28, 2019 from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church of House Springs, 4375 Gravois Road, House Springs, Missouri.
