Alma’s Obituary Alma Carter Rockafellow, 85 of Jesup died Monday, March 11, 2019 of an apparent stroke. The Wayne County, Georgia native was a member of Memorial Baptist Church and retired clerk with Pic N’ Save of Jesup. She enjoyed cooking, yard work, quilting and making items to be used in her church.

A favorite outing was walking with her Calvary Baptist Exercise group. Survivors are a daughter, Barbara Camp of Columbia, South Carolina; 4 sons, Joe Shipes of Odum, Robert Shipes (Kathy) of Columbia, South Carolina, Eugene Rockafellow of Jesup, Kevin (Melva) Rockafellow of Nahunta; sister, Lillian (Charlie) Holland of Good hope; brother, Alvin Carter of Jesup; 10 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Graveside Funeral Services will be 2 PM, Thursday, March 14, 2019 at Liberty Cemetery, 5616 Odum Screven Road, Screven, Ga.

31545 with Pastor Wayne Manning, Jr. and Rev. Randy Pruitt officiating. Visitation will be 5 to 7 PM, Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at Rinehart and Sons Chapel.
