OBITUARY Alton M. Harmon February 9, 1927 – January 25, 2019 Alton M. Harmon LEXINGTON – A memorial service for Alton M. Harmon, 91, will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 29, 2019 at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church. The family will receive friends following the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, 1130 St. Peters Road, Lexington, SC 29072.

Mr. Harmon was born February 9, 1927 in Lexington, SC, and passed away on Friday, January 25, 2019. He was the son of the late M. Ella Ballington and Benjamin F. Harmon. Mr. Harmon was a WWII Army veteran and a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church.

He is survived by his wife, Grace Harmon; sons, Mark Harmon, George Harmon (Christine); daughter, Mandy Harmon Akers (Robin Marc); grandchildren, Michael Harmon, Adam Harmon, Zachary Harmon, Heather Harmon Smith, Ashley Ella Harmon, Mary Montague Akers, Hannah Akers, Gregory Akers and great-grandchildren, Damian Harmon and Calvin Smith. Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel, is assisting the family with arrangements.
