Alvia Lene (Williams) Pruitt May 1, 1939 – March 17, 2019 Alvia Lene (Williams) Pruitt, born May 1, 1939, put on her angel wings and left the cares of this world to spend eternity with her friend Jesus and Heavenly Father on, Sunday, March 17, 2019, she was 79 years old. Alvia is preceded in death by her parents Chess E Williams, Ruthelma (Richardson) Johnson and step-father Henry Johnson. She is survived by her devoted husband Joe Hollis Pruitt of Atlanta TX; daughters Tammy Mobley and husband LaPonce of Atlanta GA, and Kathy Pruitt of Portland OR; sisters Tiny White and husband Burnette of Portland OR, Pauline Johnson of Atlanta TX, Deborah Sims of Dallas TX, and Brinda Carter of Atlanta TX; grandchildren Jamari Floyd of Great Falls MT, Ciera, Ceana, and Cequan Mobley of Atlanta GA; and great grandchildren Camden and Cameron Williams of Atlanta GA, and Treyveon Roberson, Te’Shaun and Tatum Williams, and Tyce Williams-Floyd of Great Falls MT.

Alvia was a member of Shady Grove CME Church where she served on the Missionary Board, a member of the International Lions Club and an Eastern Star. A visitation in her honor will be held at Queen City Funeral Home, Saturday, March 23, 2019, beginning at 10:30 AM and ending at 1:30 PM, with graveside service at the Shady Grove Cemetery in Atlanta TX, Saturday, March 23, 2019, beginning at 2:00 PM. Donations will be accepted through Queen City Funeral Home on behalf of the family.
