Andre “Dre”‘s Obituary ANDRE LEVON “DRE” WHITE formally of Denver, CO, passed away Monday December 31, 2018 at the tender age of 62. Andre was born in Washington DC, on April 2, 1956 to Helen Easterling and the late Otis L. White. He was a graduate of Roosevelt Jr. High School, Roosevelt, NY.

Soon after, Dre joined the Air-force where he served for four years. Andre was also employed with Hertz Rental Company for eleven years. In 1986, he and his wife trained and became one of the first husband and wife team truck drivers.

He retired in 1992 and later moved his family to Gulfport, Mississippi in October 1998. Andre was a man of many talents which included: a love for fine foods, fishing, swimming, chess, and movie night with his family. He enjoyed watching the Bronco’s, teaching history, mentoring the youth, and spending time with his family.

He often enjoyed stimulating conversation, dancing, and singing to his wife. He was an idea enthusiast and motivator –he loved anything that would make him money. He held strong values and morals.

He was a beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather, and friend who loved his family, friends and entertainment. Dre was proceeded in death by his father Otis L. White and sister – in – law Vicki Johnson Crabtree. He is survived by his mother Helen J. Easterling (Stevens) – Newport News, VA; the love of his life and wife of 37 years, Pamela G. White (Ma) – Gulfport, MS; his son, Dan’nail D. White – Denver, CO; his daughter, Sarah J. White (My Boo) – Gulfport, Ms. Two brothers Otis (Robin) White – Atlanta, GA and Ronald (Zhanna) White – Germany; and four sisters Maria (Roland) Young – Waldorf, MD; Elliott M. Stevens – Newport News, VA; Vicky (Audley) Lewis – Newport News, VA; and Penny (John) Jacks – Clinton, MD.

He also raised his nephews Charles J. Crabtree (CJ) – Denver, CO and Anthony Johnson – Denver, CO; and two very special nieces, Chascydy R. (Franklin) Smith – Newport News, VA and Pamela N. Johnson – Vancleave, MS. He also leaves to cherish a host of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. He will be deeply missed by his mother, wife, family, friends, and all who knew him.
