PETRARCA, Andre M., 62, of Burlingame Road, West Warwick, passed away Thursday evening, July 26, 2018 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center, Providence. He was the beloved husband of the late Levon M. (Lambert) Petrarca. Born in Sermoneta, Italy, he was the son of the late Pietro and Angela (Barbona) Petrarca.

He was a resident of West Warwick for most of his life. Andre was a self-employed auto mechanic for many years before retiring. His enjoyments included, hunting, fishing, boating and auto racing.

He is survived by two sons, Andre M. Petrarca, Jr. and his wife Amanda of Coventry and Joseph M. “Joey” Petrarca of West Warwick; three grandsons, Lucas, Nathan and Adam Petrarca and two siblings, Edward Petrarca of Cranston and Carla Galassa in Italy. His funeral will be held Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at 9:00 am from the HENAULT-GALLOGLY Funeral Home, 5 Eddy St., West Warwick. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am in St. Anthony Church, Sunset Ave.

, West Warwick. Interment will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, West Warwick. Visiting hours Tuesday 6:00-8:00 pm.
