FLYNN, Denis, 92, of Community Drive, Cranston, passed away Saturday, July 14, 2018 at the Scandinavian Home, Cranston. He was the beloved husband of Rose (McTague) Flynn, they had been married for forty nine years. Born in Ballinamore, County Leitrim, Ireland, he was the son of the late Terence and Rose Ann (Loughlin) Flynn.

Mr. Flynn was employed at Amica Insurance for twenty five years before retiring in 1992 and was the custodian at St. Paul’s School for 35 years. He was a communicant of St. Paul Church and a member of the Irish Ceilidhe Club of RI. Besides his wife he leaves his children, Dennis P. Flynn and his wife Colleen of Saunderstown and Rosita M. Ball and her husband David of Warwick and three granddaughters, Audra M. Ball, Tatum and Samantha Flynn.

He was the brother of the late Francis Flynn and Mary Coffey. His funeral will be held Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at 8:45 am from the PRATA-GALLOGLY Funeral Home, 78 Providence Street, West Warwick followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Paul Church, One St. Paul Place, Cranston. Interment will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
