HARDY, Roberta Lee, (Bruner), 57, of Harbour Avenue, West Warwick, passed away Thursday, July 26, 2018 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of Gary V. Hardy, they had been married for nearly 25 years. Born in Picher, Oklahoma, she was the daughter of the late Raymond M. Bruner, Sr. and Diner (Gleen) Bruner.

She resided in West Warwick for many years. Roberta was a loving wife, mother and grandmother to her family and throughout her life she touched many people and animals with her warm acts of kindness. She enjoyed Civil War reenactment and served in the U.S. Army as a communication sergeant.

Besides her husband she leaves two daughters, Audrey L. Geisler and her fiancé Jason Cote of West Warwick and Vicky Hardy of Pawtucket; a son, Christopher M. Geisler and his wife Kate of West Warren, MA; four grandchildren and four siblings, Anita L. Reed, Natalie Bruner-Fox and William and Daniel. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, July 29, 2018 from 12:00 – 6:00 pm in the Hardy Family Home, 15 Harbour Avenue, West Warwick.
