Andrew “Andy” James Ellis, age 37 of Clarkton passed on Thursday April 19, 2018. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Worthington Funeral Home in Chadbourn is serving the family.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Tracy Lynn Ellis and his grandmother who raised him, Cora Belle Rowell Ellis. Andy was an avid fan of the Carolina Gamecocks. Survivors include two daughters with whom he cherished every moment spent with them, Hadley Elizabeth Ellis and Emily Belle Ellis both of Daisy, SC; his companion, Michelle Thompkins of the home; father, Jimmy Dale Ellis of Fair Bluff; four siblings, Jessica Ames (Todd) of Charlotte, Summer Nicole Ellis (Tracey) of Fair Bluff, Blake Cullen Ellis (Taylor) of Lake View, SC and Coby Stroud of Nichols, SC; and his best friend, William Jenkins of Cerro Gordo.
