Charlie McKeever Blackwell, age 75 of Whiteville passed on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at Liberty Commons Nursing and Rehabilitation in Whiteville. Arrangements are incomplete and will be announced by Worthington Funeral Home in Chadbourn. He was the son of the late Ola Jane Spivey Blackwell and Howard James Blackwell; and was preceded in death by three siblings, Mary Jane McDonald, Brenda Faye Norris and Billy Ray Blackwell.

Survivors include three children, Dianna B. Stewart of Whiteville, Harold Dean Blackwell and Scott Allen Blackwell both of Cerro Gordo; two siblings, Carol B. Turbeville and James Blackwell both of Clarkton; four grandchildren.
