Beverly “Irene” Strickland Hahn age 65 of Cerro Gordo with to be with her Lord on Thursday, June 28, 2018 at her residence. Final rites will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, July 1, 2018 at Cherry Grove Baptist Church with Reverend Russell Davis officiating. Interment will follow in the Cherry Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Saturday at Worthington Funeral Home in Chadbourn. She was the daughter of the late Lucy Jane Hayes Strickland and Peter Homer Strickland. She as also preceded in death by two siblings, Ester S. Hayes and Bill Strickland.

She was a veteran serving in the United States Navy. To cherish her memory, she leaves her husband, Joseph Lee Hahn of the home; a son, Robert Aaron Strickland of Rocky Mount; a sister, Ernestine S. Clewis of Cerro Gordo; two grandchildren, Victoria Marie Strickland and Robert Cole Strickland.
