OBITUARY Angela Canneto November 2, 1922 – November 27, 2018 Angela (Signorelli) Canneto, 96, of Wethersfield, wife of the late Rocco Canneto, died peacefully, Tuesday, November 27, 2018 with her family by her bedside. She was born November 2, 1922 in Girifalco, Calabria, Italy and was the daughter of the late Giovanni and Angela Rosa Signorelli. Angela lived in Wethersfield most of her life.

She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother who will be dearly missed. Angela was happiest when she was surrounded by her family and friends and we are grateful to the many wonderful paesans who spent lots of great times with our parents, laughing, eating and playing cards! She is survived by her daughter, Rose and her husband Robert Casati, of Portland, sons, Frank Canneto and wife, Nora of Danbury, John and Salvatore Canneto of Wethersfield, two grandsons, Rocco Canneto and Jeremy Canneto and wife, Melanie.

Besides her husband she was sadly predeceased by her beloved son, Dominic. She also leaves many loving nieces and nephews in Connecticut, Montreal, Argentina and Italy. The family would like to thank the staff at Apple Rehab, the staff of Masonic Care and the staff at the former Ellis Manor who took such good care of her.

Calling hour will be Friday, November 30, 2018 from 10:00 am to 11:30 a.m. at the D’Esopo Funeral Chapel, 277 Folly Brook Blvd. Wethersfield followed by a prayer service at 11:30 a.m. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Park, Rocky Hill. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to an animal shelter of the donor’s choice.
