Angela Faye Callison entered Heaven’s Gate on Friday, March 8, She was surrounded and in the arms of her family. She is now with her Heavenly Father, her parents, her brother, and her family and friends. Angela was born in Muskogee on November 9, 1953 to Robert Owen and Velma Sewell Callison.
She was the third child, the middle child, the most important position she always valued. . She lived in Muskogee all her life, attended Muskogee Public Schools and Northeastern State University.
Angela enjoyed a long career, beginning as Manager of Pat Walker Fitness Studios, then as real estate agent for Callison Real Estate, then as Sales Associate for Estee Lauder at Muskogee Dillards. Angela then began her career as Corporate Sales Executive for ATT Wireless with Access Wireless, Inc She was an accomplished sales person.
Angela’s greatest accomplishment and her pride and joy were her two children, Brandy and Joseph, her grandchildren and great grandchild. She was funny, outrageous, and an absolute beauty. She loved old movies and her yard.
She loved all holidays when the family could be together. She loved going to Bob’s ranch to view and drive her namesake road “Twisted Sisters Road”, named for Bob’s three sisters. She loved being able to hold Bradley, her first grandchild, and being in charge of his care, and knowing that he thrived because of her.
She loved sitting on the front row of Joseph II and Easton’s soccer games–and their teams always won. She was a good Gran. Angela is survived by her daughter Brandy Wheeler, husband Terry, and grandson Bradley Dillon, and great-grandson Ayden; her son Joseph Neves, wife Erica, and grandsons Joseph II and Easton.
Also her sister, Jean Callison and Larry Sanders; sister Susan Callison, and brother Bob Callison and Debbie, and children Sarah Callison, Tracy Tiger, and Robbie Callison, their grandchildren and great grandchildren. Also Ronnie Neves and KayLeigh and son, Laikynn, and her former husband, Dwight Humphrey. Angela is survived by her dearest and best friends, Billy Cauthon and Tom Abbott.
She is preceded by her parents, Robert Owen Callison and Velma Sewell Callison, her brother Michael; her grandparents Eri and Gertie Callison and Pearl Nollen and Lemuel Sewell. Angela leaves many cherished family members and friends. She would want to be remembered as a great parent and a doting and loving Gran to her grandchildren and great grandchild; and as a good sister, aunt and friend.
. Angela will be forever remembered by her family and many friends, but we are comforted knowing that she is in Heaven with the Heavenly Father, her parents, her brother and her grandparents. She is happy.
