SYRACUSE – In a room filled with love and surrounded by family and friends, Ann Louise Morgan White returned to her Heavenly Father on February 18, 2019. She was born on November 21, 1943 to Lawrence W. Morgan and Elizabeth Taylor Morgan in Salt Lake City, Utah. Ann was the oldest of seven children, Larry (Linda), Frank (Linda), Marcia, John (Carol), Bruce (Carol), and Pam.

Ann grew up in East Millcreek and graduated from Olympus High School. She attended the University of Utah, graduated from Weber State University with a degree in Psychology, and received a degree in Special Education from Utah State University. On January 11, 1969 she married her best friend, Charles Orin White in East Millcreek, Utah and they were later sealed for eternity in the Ogden LDS Temple.

Ann and Charles were blessed with two sons, Patrick (Michelle) and Shane (Lynette). They have thirteen grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Ann was employed by Davis School District as a teacher’s aide at North Davis Jr. High, South Clearfield Elementary, and as a Special Ed Teacher at Kaysville Jr. High School.

She worked for the school district for 30 years. During that time, she touched the lives of many faculty members and students. Ann was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and she enjoyed callings as primary teacher, visiting teacher, and a pianist.

In her spare time, she loved spending time with her family, cooking, and the outdoors. Over the years, Ann knitted countless blankets, Christmas stockings, and scarves for friends and loved ones. In addition, she made beautiful gingerbread houses during the holidays.

Unfortunately, she did not have a green thumb and could kill anything that was green. We would like to thank all the doctors, nurses, CNA’s, and professional staff that took care of Ann over the years. We would like to give a special thanks to the staff at Davis Hospital ICU, 3rd floor, and Hospice.

Funeral services will be held Friday, February 22, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Syracuse 2nd Ward Chapel, 2228 So 1660 W, Syracuse. Friends may visit family Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road and Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church.

Interment, Syracuse City Cemetery, 1250 So 1000 W, Syracuse.
