Ann Marie Talpas Dyky, age 95 of Monessen, PA on Friday October 26 2018 in Residence at Hilltop. She was born in Monessen on April 15, 1923 daughter of the late Valent and Maria Rumanchik Talpas. Ann was a member of The Epiphany of Our Lord Roman Catholic Church in Monessen PA and the former Most Holy Name of Jesus Roman Catholic Church also in Monessen PA (prior to its closing) where she was a member of The Confraternity of Christian Mothers and The Rosary Society, and a lifelong member of the First Catholic Slovak Ladies Association Branch #88 and the Mon Valley Slovak Cultural Society.

In addition to her parents Ann Dyky was preceded in death by her husband John M. Dyky in 1979, son Dennis J. Dyky in 2009, and sisters Mary Baron, Kathryn Drabik, Veronica Kline, and Joan Kisinko. Ann is survived by her three sons David J. Dyky of Monessen PA, Donald J. Dyky of Charleroi PA, Douglas J. Dyky of Monessen PA, daughter and son in law Mary Ann and Michael J. Wood of Raleigh NC, one grandson and former U.S. Marine Zachariah J. Dyky of Scenery Hill PA, and sister Cecilia Kubik of North Versailles, PA, plus numerous nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank the staff and management of Drs.

Gosai & Gandhi Charleroi PA, The Residence At Hilltop Monongahela PA, and ViaQuest Hospice Monongahela PA for the care and compassion extended during Ann’s final days before being called home to The Lord’s presence. Friends will be received at the Robert A. Billick Funeral Home Inc., 1415 Marion Avenue, Monessen PA 15062 (724-684-3700) on Monday from 2 until 4 pm and from 6 until 8 pm. A blessing service will be held on Tuesday at 9:30 am in the funeral home followed by a funeral mass at 10 am in The Epiphany of Our Lord Roman Catholic Church 44 Pennsylvania Blvd Monessen, PA .

Interment will follow in The Most Holy Name of Jesus cemetery in Monessen. Online condolences may be sent to www.
