Anna Marie Ulens, 92, of Monessen, died Wednesday June 6, 2018 in Hallsworth House, Monessen. She was born on August 25, 1925 in Groveton, PA, the daughter of the late Michael and Anna (Tokar) Tkach. Anna moved to Czechoslovakia at the age of two and returned to the United States at the age of 14, graduating from Monessen High School in 1945.

She worked at Corning Glass in Charleroi prior to marrying her late husband Alfred J. Ulens. She was a member of the Epiphany of Our Lord Church and a former member of The Most Holy Name of Jesus Church and its Christian Mothers. She is survived by her son, Robert J. (Amy) Ulens of Monessen, two daughters, Barbara (Robert) Troilo of Monessen, Beverly A. (William) Clark of Fallowfield Twp.

, six grandchildren, Michele (Thomas) Ashcraft, Kelly (Chad) Jampedro, Amanda (Anthony) Vingas, Justin Trolio, Breann Clark, Bayley Clark; three great grandchildren, Rocco and Mia Jampedro and Alana Vingas; and by numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son Alfred M. Ulens, a grandson Michael Anthony Ulens, and by a sister Mary Fecik. Friends will be received on Friday June 8, 2018 from 2 to 4 pm and from 6 to 8 pm in Dalfonso-Billick Funeral Home Inc. and Cremation Services, 441 Reed Avenue, Monessen.

Services will be held on Saturday beginning with a 9:30 am Blessing in the funeral home, followed by a 10 am Funeral Mass in Epiphany of Our Lord Church 44 Pennsylvania Blvd. Monessen, with Rev. Michael J. Crookston officiating.

Interment will follow in the Belle Vernon Cemetery. Condolences accepted for the family at www. dalfonso-billick.com.
