Anne T. (Skura) Miccolis, 87, of West Leechburg, passed away on Saturday, December 15, 2018 at Concordia Lutheran Ministries Nursing Home, Cabot. Born January 10, 1931 in West Leechburg, she was a daughter of the late John & Helen Skura. Anne was a 1949 graduate of Leechburg High School, and lived in West Leechburg since 1953, where she was well-known as the tax collector for many years.

Her memberships include Christ The King Church in Gilpin Township, the 49ers high school reunion club, and TOPS, a weight loss program where she was once voted, “Queen For A Year”. Anne was a talented artist, and liked drawing and painting.

She was an excellent musician, and played the organ and guitar. Anne also enjoyed ordering products from QVC. In addition to her parents, Anne was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence R. “Mick” Miccolis, who passed away on January 11, 2018; a grandson, Keith M. Miccolis, who passed away on January 24, 2015; brother, Joe Skura; and sister, Mary Quarato.

Anne is survived by her children, Larry J. Miccolis of Vandergrift, Carl (Michele) Miccolis of Hyde Park, Gary (Carolyn) Miccolis of West Leechburg, Karen (Thad Vernam) Miccolis of Jackson Center, PA; grandchildren, Brandon, Cari Ann, Connie, David; great grandchild, Shalynn; great great grandson, Xavier; and nieces and nephews. Friends will be received in the Curran Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 300 Market St., Leechburg, on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 from 2 to 4:00 p.m. and 6 to 7:30 p.m. A Celebration Of Life honoring Anne’s life will take place at the funeral home on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. Parting prayers of transfer will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in Christ the King Catholic Church, 125 Park Road, Leechburg, with Father James Loew, O.S.B. as celebrant. Entombment in Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell.
